Gentry International School recently transferred to its new building located at Claro M. Recto, Hi-way, Clark Freeport Zone, offers from Pre-school to Senior High school. The school focuses on different activities that help the students to develop their skills and be competent with their 21st century skills.
Students are not only inside the four corners of the school, rather they are more engage to outside activities such as seminars, workshops, business forums, outreach programs, sports activities and many more. Also, students participate in many academic competitions like the Philippine Biology Olympiad held at Ateneo De Manila University and Philippine Mathematical Olympiad at Central Luzon State University in Nueva Ecija.
In addition, the school is very active in outreach programs, “Gentry Charities” spend their time in helping and doing some activities like the Philexel Art Center outreach program wherein children from Tuloy Foundation and students of Gentry International School collaborated to have the “Arts and Crafts” workshop.
Moreover, students from the senior high school department get to be exposed to different culinary activities and seminar workshops such as the one they had at Center for Asians Culinary Studies, Teaspoon Café, Park-Inn by Radison Clark and the Sandwich Guy at SM City Clark.
They also attended business forums like the North Luzon Business Conference and Philippine hosted by BCDA (Bases Conversion and Development Authority).
The school is also very active in participating in international competitions like Sony World Photography, and Global Social Leaders.
In terms of Sports, the students are very active in joining competitions in football around the place. Also, for music and dance, the school has its annual serenades wherein students prepare songs and dances to be performed in front of the crowd. Lastly, for the Arts, students conduct their painting classes with a professional and graduate instruction from the University of the Philippines
When the pandemic hit the country, we changed our curriculum to online classes. As for the moment, we offer blended learning to our local and foreign students. Grade 1-3 students attend online classes and do learning packets for their task-based activities, while Grade 4-12 students attend online classes and do task-based activities. The curriculum for this year focus on computer science which focuses on photoshop, animation and coding. Also, we offer English literacy such as grammar, vocabulary, writing and research. Along with the other school activities like The Writer’s Club, Gentry Films and Gentry Vlogs
